Would you like to better understand how to use medical cannabis safely to improve your quality of life? Nishi Whiteley, author of Chronic Relief: A Guide to Cannabis for the Terminally and Chronically Ill and medical cannabis lay expert can help.

One-on-One Cannabis Educational Consultations

Educational consultations provide a general overview of how and why cannabis works in the body. Each session is tailored to the needs of the client to help address their top 3-5 health challenges. When people first consider using medical cannabis finding quality information, sorting through it and then trying to figure out how to apply what you have learned can be daunting. Medical cannabis educational consultation sessions are generally one-hour long and cover the following topics:

  • Quick overview of what the existing cannabis science says about your particular disease or ailment?
  • A basic overview of the cannabis plant, its components and how and why does it work in the body.
  • Risks and how to manage them.
  • The pros and cons of different intake methods.
  • Preferred cannabinoind and terpene profiles for your particular issues.
  • How to talk with your doctor about cannabis.
  • Questions to ask your budtender.
  • Possible dosing strategies (see disclaimer bellow).

At the end of the session, call participants will have the information they need to decide if cannabis is something they want to try, and if so how to proceed. Family members (or a trusted friend) are encouraged to participate too. An incredible amount of information is shared during the consult – more than most people can remember.  It is advisable to have a note-taker present on the call.

Nishi is not a physician and thus the information shared in this cannabis educational consultation is educational information and should NOT be construed as medical advice.

Educational consultations are available in telephone, Skype, and in-person formats.  Consultations are $150 for one hour and $80 for 30 minute follow up consultations. To schedule and pay for a consultation, please contact us here.
