Cannabis 101 Guide

December 11, 2015 By admin 1 Comment

Overview of Endocannabinoid System

Our president, Nishi Whiteley, gave this presentation to the Austin chapter of Women Grow in Dec 2015.  She presents an overview of the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) which is our innate harm-reduction system in our body.  This system is important in many biological functions and contributes to our health as well as dis-ease.  We learn how supporting this system with cannabis can provide relief and sometimes reverse disease progression.

“Cannabis is the single most versatile herbal remedy, and the most useful plant on Earth. No other single plant contains as wide a range of medically active herbal  constituents.”

– Dr. Ethan Russo, Medical Director PHYTECS
